Dear Stanley,
Sorry for the lack of love on your accomplishment this past weekend. A record that stood for 36 years came down and the largest running site in the world couldn't even do a write-up. Embarrassing the lack of coverage and journalism on this accomplishment. Couldn't imagine if this was Galen Rupp but that's a different story.
I saw they gave you QOTD but then they just linked your AR to an article.
Hell of a performance.
Congratulations Stanley Kebenei on your new American Record.

Wait til they measure the course again and we'll see if it holds up

I think its because he is not American born but Kenyan and Greg Meyer is American bred and born, perhaps. I could be wrong.

Mate, that literally has nothing to do with writing an article. You could easily mention that in the article. -

Yes and No.
If Paul Chelimo had ran it, there would have been an article. Maybe Shadrack, But yeah, that's about it from ADP.
With that said, yes, prefacing "Kenyan Born" in many of their articles is tiring AF. They didn't run like "Kenyan Born" at World XC.
Just many soft Americans these days. I'm glad they are here to hopefully raise the competition. Greg Meyer's went 2:09 like 100 years ago. How many Americans have run 2:09 or faster since 2010? -

It's kind of like lagat or maree holding the 5k/15 AR...just doesn't mean as much to most. Just isn't the same. Sorry that you don't like that, but that's just the way it is. Really nice guys though, -
No. Lagat is a born and bred Kenyan who ran for Kenya and set Kenyan records. Maree is a different story.
Also, Lagat was busted for doping. -
Hardloper, what would his adjusted time be in your fantasy world? 46:01.22? 46:02? Thanks.
