Hello!
I need some help in finding the right shoe or if something is wrong with my left foot. I am 50+ and use size 11 running shoes which is one size bigger than my casual/dress shoes. When I run long distance (half marathon), I have no issues until mile 8. After that I have discomfort and pain on my left foot toes (except the big toe). The pain disappears when I remove the shoe and sock. Does the foot expand and the toes cramped for space?
My race completion time is affected because of the pain in the left foot toes. I have to stop every half mile, remove my shoes and socks, put them back and continue to run for another half mile. Does anyone know what could be the problem? Should I go for size 11.5 or size 12 running shoe?
