Excess anything can be bad for you.
Here’s a few simple rules I try to follow if I’m “eating healthy”.
1. Don’t overeat.
2. If you couldn’t, or someone couldn’t, grow it or kill it don’t eat it. So no processed foods, no bread, etc. So your complex carbs would be rice, potatoes, etc.
3. Eat protein with each meal.
4. Eat something green, eat veggies with each meal.
5. Drink water with each meal.
