The important thing is SOURCE. Are the calories coming from some chicken that you deep fried in bacon grease and then put bbq sauce on - the same as calories from a bowl of steamed broccoli? No.
Actually this is currently a huge area of debate. Your response is wrong in that at a very basic level yes it would be possible to take in the exact same calories from both these foods. The argument would be around the associated fats / potential carcinogenic properties of that greasy fried food. However it is very important to note that there is no undisputed evidence linking acrylamide in fried / burnt foods directly to cancer.
Others argue that this may well be a game of statistical chicken and egg. i.e. The guy who sits about drinking / eating garbage foods is much more likely to be unhealthy / inactive and thus more susceptible to ailments than his fit brother, who is more likely to be eating that broccoli and out running / taking other exercise and keeping healthy. Question enough people living these lifestyles and the stats potentially incorrectly tell you that broccoli helps you live longer / avoid cancer.

That's what the vegans want you to believe.

Excess fat makes you fat, makes you sick, clogs your arteries, clogs your heart, clouds your brain.
Lots of things are wrong with it.
My goodness you're a moron. Sugar is an essential nutrient. Without it life could not exist.

Sugar is bad for you no matter where it comes from and no matter if you eat the whole fruit or not. Added fiber does not negate the negative effects of sugar.
You should limit sugar whenever possible. No need to eat peanut butter with sugar in it for example. Stop with the honey.
In addition to what we all know about sugar, that it leads to obesity, it also has a major hand in a lot of other things including cancer, Alzheimer's Disease, other mental fog, heart disease, type II diabetes, macular degeneration, cataracts, and even man boobs. You would be better off adding more vegetables and some meat.

Your body doesn't require any dietary sugar, you can synthesize all you need from fat and protein.

What makes you think the peanut butter being consumed is excess fat?

Only two good things come from fruit, vitamin C and provitamin A, and you can get a full day's supply from one serving. The pyramid will crumble once the bureaucracy accepts this fact in a few decades.
Are you trying to be more stupid than YMMV when it comes to nutrition? It's gonna be hard...

Excess calories from any source make you fat. But you can eat fat without eating excess fat. Just like excess carbohydrate can make you fat, but eating carbohydrate isn't inherently bad.
Ignore all the rubbish in this thread, some of what I have read is pure drape.
3 or so portions of fruit a day is fine, peanut butter and fats are fine and honey is fine. Eat organic and clean though, it’s the pesticides and rubbish added to foods that is making everyone fat, diabetic and depressed, not necessarily the sugar on its own. Adding a high sugar diet to a diet laden of pesticides is never good but sugar on its own is far from the only reason there an obesity crisis. Reguardless of your diet, weight and health status, it isn’t a great idea to go overboard on sugar. 80 grams a day is on the high end, I am not going to lie that it is quite a bit and personally I try and limit my intake to 50g max. But if you are running a lot, feel mentally and physically well within yourself and have no metabolic issues that run strong in the family then you will probably be fine.
As with anything, moderation is key.

Clear thinking and healthy living.
You don't need a lot of carbs. My diet was mainly carbs like Durianrider promotes and I got fat.
A diet of animal proteins and whole grains and vegetables is healthiest. Avoid eating more than 1 piece of fruit per day and NO soda or juice!! Insulin will go nuts!
