15.27 at 5. Slower than Istanbul this afternoon but might have more up her sleeve
They said in the livestream that the first 5k is minimally uphill
65:05 pace for Sifan at 10k.
Hassan is slowing down 46:33 at 15k
That’s 65:30 pace for Sifan Hassan. World record out of reach. But will she run the fastest half today? Ruth Chepngetich ran 65:29 in Istanbul.
William Wanjiku takes the sprint in ~ 60:00?
~65:45 for Hassan. Chepngetich runs fastest women’s half today.

Here are the top 3 results
1. Hassan, Sifan (NED) Niederlande 1:05:4501:05:45
2. Nyaruai, Veronica (KEN) F3W30Kenia 1:08:51
3. Bayoulgn, Selamawit (ETH) F26WHMaccabi Tel-Aviv 1:09:02
Hassan ran most of the race alone with two male pacers (or at leas the last third that I watched). Clearly not such a fierce battle as in Copenhagen last year because there was nobody to battle with. This might be a reason that she did not get such a fast time. I also read that the course was changed compared to former years and is not quite as flat and fast as it used to be.

Yeah I remember watching her running with this dude who wasn’t a rabbit for the majority of the race in Copenhagen (he ran in the 65 minute range too but she beat him). Only her second ever half though, maybe she can challenge the WR in the fall.
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
RENATO can you talk about the preparation of Emile Cairess 2:06
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
Hats off to my dad. He just ran a 1:42 Half Marathon and turns 75 in 2 months!
