Correct.

Correct.
Looks like they are 36" in Australia which seems low for U18s!

Why did you remove the link that was to the IAAF webpage? Because you were WRONG?

I'm pretty sure it's not necessary to verify anyone's age at birth.
LOL...ukathleticscoach is a retard

The guy is 16 years old. It seems he was competing in both U18 and U20 events.
U18 hurdles are 36"
U20 hurdles are 39"
Real Man hurdles are 42"
Regardless of hurdle height. a 16 year old dropping a 13.05 is darn impressive. He has another year of U18, and three more years of U20, he can do.
Birthdates aren't easily faked in developed countries with hospital births and official birth certificates from the hospitals, which is why no one would doubt his age, assuming he was born there. Drugs? We just heard of this guy for the first time. Pretty impressive performances. A bright future.
Of course it's only the first week in April, but at this point, in U18, he is ranked:
100m: 4th
200m: 3rd (-2.0 wind)
110H: 1st
PV: 1st
LJ: top 25(?). His 6m98 was achieved during his decathlon. He probably could do better.
Decathlon: 1st

Robert and Weldon, this is the carphole your messageboards have come to.
Anyway, great results by Sasha. Well done.
If he was from one of those nations in Africa the Federations would claim he was 12 or 13 you disingenuous filth. Crawl back to your hasbarat hole.
Only you use the word "hasbarat" on here, Coevett.
Insult me as much as you want. I don't care. :)
This dude is almost as blatant of an age cheat as Alan Webb. Enough of these “high school phenoms” with wrinkles and receding hairlines!
But seriously... this kid is a beast. I don’t think I recall a world class decathlete emerging at such a young age. It will be interesting to see which events he focuses on when he turns 18.

East Africans are superior runners.
The decathlon perhaps? If he's keen for it. Can he throw I wonder.
Looks like Mondo jumped 5.49 at age 16...

He has done the decathlon. His throws suck, but they are not completely bad.
He scored a 7271. Even if you replace his 100m (10.78 with 10.52) 110H (13.46 with 13.05) and PV (4.90 with 5.56) performances with his current bests, he would only score 7594. Yes, that's great, but it does not compare to a 5.56 PV.
He should obviously stick to the PV for now. The decathlon could be his fall back event if he stops progressing in the PV.
