I run on a poorly maintained, sometimes flat out muddy dirt/grass track throughout the spring, summer, and fall. On the turns, it can get downright slippery when I'm tossing through intervals, so I bought Saucony Carrera XC2s. Problem is, they're a little thin on the cushioning and a too aggressive on my calves to be used for everyday training.
Does any company make what is basically a fairly cushioned road-type shoe that also happens to have a couple spike wells added to the bottom for off-road running? Maybe something like the Nike Zoom Rival D 10, but with even more padding than that, even
