I've been wearing the Adidas Adios 3 for my previous two marathons. 2:50-3:00 range. Felt good. In training, I use the Adios for tempos and intervals, and the Boston for easy runs. Long Runs I mix them up.
I'm probably overthinking this, but should I perhaps use the heavier Adidas Boston for the Boston Marathon, given the extra pounding induced by the downhill running? Never done Boston. It's funny because I'm reading how tough the Boston course is (hence the question), yet according to findmymarathon.com it's supposed to by faster than NYC and the other ones I did.
Don't try to convince me to buy the 4%ers. I'm a straight shooter.
