Proud of these European women holding strong around 20th place. Keepin' it real, keepin' it clean.

No idea what this is even supposed to mean. Did you have a problem when 23-year-old Bekele ran the Junior race?
Sea salt.
Obiri is sure doing a great job of being the Kenyan badass who charges every hill with her head down... ouch!
Here is a picture of Kelsye my brother sent me. I think it was on lap #1?

Through 4 laps:
1) Ethiopia 22
2) Kenya 25
3) Uganda 36
...
USA 195
Report from Jonathan Gault
Pippa woolven is a Brit who signed up to run like Kelsey and she is currently ahead of entire us team
Note from rojo: I think Pippa was like 10th or 11th at Euro XC, wasn't selected so she showed up on her own.
Funny race. The likes of Moller (9:31 steeplechase) or Burkard (9:29 steeplechase) miles ahead of Frerichs (9:00 steeplechase).
Jonathan - Kelsey is still 1 minute behind Frerichs at 8k.

Lots of these athletes don't know how to run hills. You're meant to lean forward yes, but from the ankles not e hips!
Obiri is just absolutely terrifying in XC!

It appears that Australia may be 4th with 133. The Brits are close behind with 141
My girls Kazama and Hironaka rocked the "U20" race.
First juniors to cross the line, with stellar times. Bright future for these girls.
My God... that has to be the most aggressive, maniacal frontrunning badassery I have ever seen from Obiri. All of you letsrunners who complain about sit-and-kick tacticians... hope you enjoyed that! :)
"Lightly salted".

You expect for the Americans to be beat by the Africans, but these no-names from Western countries are crushing them.

Not when he’s actually under 20, unlike some of his competitors
Also, Jakob is running this as a training build up. XC is chump change. No money in it. This is just a novelty race, just like the mountain races.
Obiri is a total beast, by the way. She makes a mockery of the runners that dodge the competition. Give here the location, give the distance, and she will be there competing for the win. Toughest woman on the circuit right now.
Intereting, on paper usa ladies are significantly faster than gb ladies on track. But are absolutely useless on a proper xc course! props to Bruce though.
Unofficial Team Scores
1) Ethiopia 21
2) Kenya 25
3) Uganda 36
4) GBR 132
5) Australia 134
6) Bahrain 152
7) USA 189
Note that this is based on just looking at individual results
