Our boots on the ground in Denmark and just got off the train in Aarhus. They will be headed to course shortly and we'l be publishing an official course preview on the homepage but I've decided I can't wait for them to break down the course for LRC nation. Others are already there and it looks like the course is living up the the huge expectations that everyone has for it.
Let's start our review with former NAU star Matt Baxter who is now running for Hoka NAZ Elite, N. Zealand. He has written an incredibly detailed and funny review of the course.

The local organizers had an amazing response to the early reviews about how difficult the course is:

Now, having watched a woman give birth to a child, I can say that I can certainly understand why women may not trust a review that comes from a man who wonders if child birth is more painful than getting kicked in the nuts (I'm definitely on the side of childbirth). So if you are doubting Baxter's review that the course is super tough, then trust the review of former world xc medallist Shalane Flanagan.
