I know, many on letsrun make more than me, but did I mention I do nothing all day? Also, I’m hourly and frequently work overtime (also doing nothing).

Cool. Which school district do you teach in?
Not a teacher. I'd go with union job...
...maybe a longshoreman?
Anything?
OK, what's your job.
Longshoreman actually work. Probably a government employed healthcare professional. I know a few....

I do you live on such measily income? You should try making $300K+ a year.
Healthcare worker, pseudo-government, I guess.
DC Metro station manager?

You’re probably right, but making even a little bit more money would require substantially more work. I’m not ready to make that trade off because I like surfing the web too much.

I would understand you not wanting to be super specific about your job but can you tell us are you a healthcare provider (seeing / treating patients) or in healthcare administration? Regardless, where can I apply for a similar job?
Slightly more specific, please wrote:

I sort of treat patients...or at least if I were doing anything I would be. Most hospitals would employ me, though many would make me do some sort of work. If you’re as lazy as me, finding the right employer is key.
Ugh, you gotta go to work? Inherited $2.9 million after taxes a few years ago. I don't need to go to work @36 yrs old. Smoke pot most of the day at home and go for ocassional run.
Prison healthcare worker. My cousin is one. Too mediocre to get a job at a real healthcare facility, plus he speaks poor English. Nobody cares if a person locked behind bars for life dies. Are you a US citizen? I’m sure you can buy yourself into permanency with the money you make or at least get married.

Ah, that’s your big mistake. You should switch over to healthcare administration that way you could do even less to help patients and make 5-10x what a RN/RT/NP/PA/DO/MD makes. Plus, you could still surf LRC all day and get big bonuses and still practice (bad) medicine via admistrative decisions to save money at the expense of patients.
I don’t think this sorry excuse for a human being cares about patients, or tax payer dollars, so maybe hospital administrator is a better position or even Congress. As a freshman I believe starting salary is 170K. Still won’t have to do anything all day. At least you don’t have to wear scrubs in Congress.
Are you Caster’s gynecologist?
Not much to do there... hernia check?

Hey boss! How's it going?
When you're done posting on letsrun, would you mind reviewing those eight reports I spent all weekend putting together?
Thanks!
Actually he's probably the person behind an urgent care - has the PA do all the work and he just signs off on items

He? This is an equal opportunity forum so let’s be gender neutral here. If women get paid less for the same work as men, then shouldn’t OP, as a he, be making more for doing nothing?
