Hello there, I’m a high school runner who is a senior and runs about 45 mpw, and am currently about to hit 50 this week. I’m on spring break vacation and don’t have many healthy food options, so I was wondering how bad it would be if I had ice cream? I usually try to eat healthy most days of the week but would it affect my running if I got like a medium ice cream cone? Am I stressing out about this too much or no? I’m not worried about gaining weight or anything, I just want to know if it had any affect on endurance or recovery for young high school runners and stuff like that.
