Sorry guys, Nike got him first.
I am proud to announce Nike's newest racing flat, created with the input of the doctor. The Mezafly 1000% is the next evolution in distance racing performance. Features include CheatX midsole, designed specifically for quickest entry and exit from automobiles, trucks, and SUVs. The Mezafly 1000% also features a carbon fiber Expulsion plate, which makes the runner look like he is running much faster than he really is. Plodding along at 9 minutes per mile? The Expulsion plate will make you look like you're running 6 minutes per mile. In addition, the Mezafly 1000% has a Cheatknit upper material, guaranteed to stay breathable whether you're actually running, or standing off to the side looking at your watch waiting to run.
Well, that's why wrote:

Frank knows the course, and he knows where the checkpoints are. He likely drives and parks as close as possible to the checkpoints. He probably parks just beyond the checkpoints and backtracks on side streets, or up the sidewalk before running back towards the checkpoint (and his car). He drives ahead and repeats.
Here is his video from L.A. btw
https://download.finisherpix.tv/video_download/3017/1151Anyone wondering why Frank cheats, just listen to the announcer blow smoke up his a$$, yelling "70yrs young, running two fifty three and change, Frank you are incredible."
Not surprising that they are reluctant to disqualify him with cheerleading like that.
.
The reason has already been explained over 10 pages ago by a poster who claimed what excuses he'll end up using when his bathroom break doesn't work.
The poster (Psychology 101?) said EGO, and he or she was right. Any of you who can't figure out the motive are simply over-thinking this. He's a braggart and loves the attention. His friends who don't run are clueless, like many posters on here. His smart friends who will get directed to this thread already know he cheated. The dumb ones don't care.

Go ahead, pick on the grammar error in the 2cd sentence. It happens. Was supposed to be sort of "I tried to find proof" too.
Dude, if anyone was going to dog you about grammar, they'd have done it well before now.
We've also had many inquiries about a new Meza trainer. Well, I wasn't supposed to say anything, but I guess I'll let the cat out of the bag, since LR has been begging for details.
Nike is proud to announce the Epic Overreact trainer, made with the input of Dr. Meza.
The Epic Overreact features Overreact foam, formulated for backpedaling and side-tracking. Overreact foam has been tested to provide 20% more excuses than EVA. The Epic Overreact is perfect for long sessions of studying Google Maps, making phone calls to arrange for pickup points, and recovering from hard cheating sessions.
LA sure has a lot of unregistered runners. 10k mat.
did anyone notice the young lady volunteers in the "Frank ditches his disguise video" are holding "bandits exit now" signs? I think LA expects a ton of bandits.
Earlier in the thread someone suggested the LA excuse would be a pee break. Either he reads this thread, or that's the most obvious answer to the question of why did you leave the course.
Unlike others here, I wouldn't be surprised if he runs again. He already had DQs under his "belt", but continued to run.
No surprise, LRC didn't discuss this case in their podcast. I guess they don't care about age group times.
Frank is also considering apparel contracts. Here are the front runners and a preview of from their no-look books.

FRANK MEZA SPORTS
Frank Shorter inspired a generation of marathon runners while Frank Meza will inspire a generation of marathon cheats. Our mission is to make all athletes faster through deception, obfuscation and the relentless pursuit of cheating. Where we started? It all started with a man and his desire to run faster than he actually could.
The A-Mez-ing Singlet
When it comes to your deceptive look, lightweight layers are key. The A-Mez-ing Singlet is a staple of Frank Meza Sports, thanks to its sweat-resistant fabric, breathable mesh construction, and unflattering fit. This singlet is ready to be your new go-to for hitting the timing mat, plodding down the homestretch, and everything in between the course.

But what about The Banditos ones, The Three Doctorteers?
More LA Marathon evidence to be presented on Monday. This should be more than sufficient for even the last of the skeptics, and hopefully The LA Marathon .

Derek, if you get this cheating, shuffling, tortoise disqualified from the L.A Marathon, then you deserve a medal yourself.

Dang Derek, couldn’t you have waited until Sunday night to dangle this teaser?? :-)

Even enough to convince Eric the "former criminal defense attorney" ? These people are after all the ultimate arbiters of truth.

He’s probably the counsel Frank was referring to.
Derek,
Did you post the response from the L.A. marathon yet? I was expecting to see it a few days ago, but perhaps I just missed it.
No. The response will be included in Monday’s article.
OK. And thanks for all of your good and level-headed work in these cases.

A long-sleeve shirt under a regulation T shirt, even at the finish. Over-heat much?
What were race temperatures for 2018 LA Marathon? If his over abundance of attire (not related to covering up his number - a completely different topic) has been discussed previous, direct me to the pertinent page.
Thanks.
The midrace portion of the video (25k mat??) is compelling. Black Headband Guy is obviously running a pace much, MUCH faster than Meza.
