Here’s what Frank was wearing later on that day—I guess he lost his sweatshirt. But he gained a hat. And sunglasses. Same green lanyard, though.
That’s the old Wadsworth Chapel near the LA National Veteran’s park. Right at about the 35K mark—in 2013, the marathon course was different than it was in 2019. I guess he was warm enough by then to shed the sweatshirt.
