Is this fake news? I can't access this on the LA Marathon website. If fake, you sure fooled me.

The site looks legit. They have already posted what's on the site in the post above.
But it seems like he is only DQ from 2019. They should probably DQ him from 2015, 2017, and 2018.
(Comma or no comma after 2017?)

Nope. It's real!
Thank you LAM for finally taking the right action.
So, are there compelling pics/data for Phoenix?
They probably have pictures of him waiting for the right moment to get back onto the course to hit the right time at the timing mat.

Great race Frank. Wow!

The revised results for the Men’s 70-74 age group are:
1st - Dan Adams - 4:10:07
2nd - Marek Malolepzy - 4:11:08
3rd - Joe Ogata - 4:25:24

This DQ should create reverberations. After all FM's Phoenix 2:53:54 now becomes the FKT for 70 plus.
No, it's real.
Click on "Media" in the menu and then on "Media Center". The long-awaited disqualification is listed. LAM still has to update the results, I think. Thanks to all who contributed in a fair way.
Coach Diaz, do you have a comment?
Any words of wisdom from our troll of a couple of days ago?

Not yet but who cares. Everybody knows that Frank has cheated. He is well advised to use all his strength to erase all texts, interviews or Youtube videos on the internet, in which he coquets with his "running experiences". It's just embarrassing.
Y'all are saying he was DQed, but he's still there in the results on the official website.

Sorry that I have to quote my own post. Have a look at the LAM website and then:
"Click on "Media" in the menu and then on "Media Center". The long-awaited disqualification is listed. LAM still has to update the results, I think."
"After an extensive review of original video evidence from official race cameras and security cameras at retail locations along the race course, Conqur Endurance Group has determined that Dr. Frank Meza violated a number of race rules during the 2019 Skechers Performance Los Angeles Marathon, including re-entering the course from a position other than where he left it. The video evidence is confirmed by a credible eyewitness report and our calculation that Dr. Meza’s actual running time for at least one 5K course segment would have had to have been faster than the current 70-74 age group 5K world-record [an impossible feat during a marathon]."
Dang. They took it further than Derek did.

just this years race? hasn't he run other unbelievable times at LAM in the past? I was hoping they would all be scrubbed.
its like these athletes that get caught doping but get to keep the medals they've won prior to testing positive.
Was it deadesq's map and pictures that were the final nail in Frank's LA 2019 coffin?
If so, it would be time to start with the thorough documentation of the other races.

Comma. :)
Just one domino falls today, but it's already the third one, and it's a big one. Although the factual findings are obviously much thinner than some of us would prefer, this should make it easier to make similar decisions about the other races.
Congrats again to the LetsRun sleuths for the DQ.

I would hope so, it's THEIR race!
