So, I know that TMAW is a troll, but honestly, I think he's doing a great job of channeling what Frank's internal dialogue must be like right now. Maybe we have the real FM on the board and we're just dismissing it as a troll..
That said, as a person who's been a despicable liar in the past, I have a keen focus on weird defensiveness and slips of tongue when a liar feels like they are backed in a corner.
TMAW is interesting - some things that really stick out to me.]
1. The absolutely out of left field accusations of racism against the Latinx community, when that had not really been a topic of discussion at all re: FM's cheating.
2. The defensive of - he's doing it for fun, he's an amateur, who is to you to say how he races. I think FM has probably been cheating and cutting courses in races so long now that this is how he thinks you race. I'm sure he thinks he's smarter than the rest of the schmucks who had to run the whole thing. It's telling that the troll continues to hone in on let him race how he wants to race, given that it's a possibility FM doesn't even consider what he's doing to be cheating.
3. TMAW is really keen on saying he only accepts evidence of FM on a bike because he knows FM ditches his bike well off course. I find it interesting he volunteers the information of taking a bus and riding a bike in reply to a post that doesn't mention a specific mode of transport.
4. Finally, the whole line of "What would you do in FM's shoes?" - The perspective of TMAW is entirely from someone who has cheating to defend, not from someone who ran an honest race. If I had jumped the shark and ran the 3:00 i wanted to at LAM and Derek flagged me - I'd happily turn over my GPX files. I wouldn't think to pull a nuclear option of counsel and lawsuits because I wouldn't have anything to hide. The alternative isn't another dishonest behavior (bribing). The alternative is providing evidence that shows I ran an honest race.
