as he said he only does it for fun
"Very odd why to dress for a mild weather race."
Older people get cold faster. ;)
Who comes to the race finish this way? What a shameful body language. Looks like a bank robber? Who is that!!??
dunno whats so funny about it though wrote:

cheating is fun
until you get caught
And starts the race looking like Emperor Palpatine.
Someone posted that Frank Meza's athlinks would go private. My guess is that since Frank Meza did not have a profile set up on athlinks until after this thread came about......someone besides Frank set it up. They missed several of his earlier races which are still listed as unclaimed. Not sure why the Boston marathon is not one of Frank Meza's unclaimed results. Any runner who had hidden talent for the marathon, would seem to have had some of that potential show up at the Boston Marathon. Unless he intentionally jogged it. A slow jog at that.

Definitely proof that Frank is acting very atypical of someone getting ready to run a 1:26 marathon at the age of 70! Is it proof that he cheated, no. We already knew he tended to start inconspicuously and the thought is he ducks off the course and gets on a bike or something. Unfortunately, you are allowed to start anywhere in the corral! Definitely this video evidence is great additional circumstantial evidence to add to the overwhelming evidence that shows Frank Meza is a cheater.

Rod-I have only posted a few times on this thread but have read every post so far. "Intentionally jogged?" No, that's all he was capable of. Come on, man...
For anyone that has the time and energy, maybe you can find something from the Firecracker photos. Lots of them on their fb page: https://www.facebook.com/thefirecracker10k/photos/?tab=album&album_id=10155921484585042

I'm still pissed that this Jesse prick hasn't shown us his results yet he complains about Frank. Sorry, I don't see the difference.
Oh. I see. So, as a 65YO slow old fart, I can't complain about Frank, either? I was unaware of the street/track/trail cred requirement to post on LR. I don't see anyone else posting their elite/sub-elite times, polishing their nails, like morans. Give the guy a break. The thread is about the cheater, and shouldn't be anything more.
I didn't write that. It was just someone impersonating me. I wouldn't use that language about anyone. I have no idea who Jesse is, nor do I care. It's a shame that this thread has become bogged down with hundreds of posts about some silly spat that, as far as I am aware, has no significant connection to the main topic. There are people who are coming to this thread to find out more about the Meza story, and they shouldn't have to wade through this extraneous nonsense.
Blah blah blah (15 lines?)
Results here:

First 10k runner here (this is pretty late in the race, and if you check bibs against race results, most are photographed):
Runner listed 17 seconds ahead of Frank in the results:
Runner listed 7 seconds behind Frank in the results:
I couldn't find Chip/Gun time differentials
Frank finished in his usual white Aztlan singlet
Runner 17 seconds ahead of Frank in results:
Frank is behind the shirtless man in the back of the above photo, so his gun/chip time mustn't have been too far off and thus should appear close to those who finished near him at other points in the race?

Looks like he ran a 20:25 5K in 2016, a very good time for his age I was curious how he could have cheated in a 5K
Ironically, it seems he didn't cheat nearly enough at this race for it to be believable. A 2:53 marathoner is capable of much faster than a 20:25 5k. This was just a marathon-pace training run for him (or practice for future "runs").
Easy course to cheat at but Loyola runners sometimes show up for the race so it'd be a bit harder to pull off without them noticing it. Probably why he's only been a 1 and done there
Here he is on the right post-finish
I swear I've looked at so many race photos in the past few days that I recognize OTHER runners between LA and this race. 6152 in Firecracker is in the LA photos too. NOT implying anything just admitting that I have a real problem at this point.
If you create an account, you can view the high resolution photos of the finishers here!
There's Frank's finish
The case is closed. He’s a proven cheater on a grand scale. You don’t have to look through one more set of race photos.
But if you find something cool, please share it!
Or if you want to investigate a new aspect of the case, try to identify the guy running alongside him and posing with him in the SMU jacket. I’ve been working that angle to no avail.
Try that again...
