Droddy bonking, may not finish this one
Can’t find a feed.
Is Noah still pushing onward? Gotta be at about 37/8km now.

We’re looking at a high 2:13 or mid 2:14 if he craters.
I don’t see it either. So frustrating
Now in the 2:16-17 range.
Bonk.
No pre race mention of wondermom Roberta Groner of NJ. She is currently in 8th at 25k. Alphine is in 4th.

Seems like a PB for Koen Naert, sub 2:08. So happy for this guy !
19 seconds off the national record for Naert
Noah will be doing well to break 2:19 at this point
Belgium has a 2:07 guy.
Not counting retired chubby Rupp, the US has a bunch of 2:13-2:16 guys.
Come on Ritz next week!
John Mason of Canada (2:15:17) PB'd by 3 minutes, fastest North American lol

Droddy is a frustrating runner to follow to me. I root for him, and I really think he has it in him to be a sub-2:10 marathoner, but looking at his training on log-a-run, I can’t imagine why he insists on racing the Marathon with only moderate mileage (85-100mpw) and no runs of over 20 miles (many of which take him under 2 hours to complete). Who is coaching him this way?
Can Droddy sneak under 2:20?
He arrived in Rotterdam 10 days ago and the other day was riding around town on a bike.
I scolded him on IG.
