If anybody already broke 4 minutes in the mile , please show his schedule that get him there.
Base, racing season example weeks, workouts etc.
I know that there are a bunch of threads about it , but looking for more info.

Sorry, but nobody has ever broken 4 for a mile.
This contains Luke Watson's training back from early 00s. He had a really good training log online somewhere. Mainly during his indoor season, I think he won the Meyo Mile that year? Anyway. Here you go.
have you heard of Alberto Salazar?

Yes, of course. He never broke 4.
It's not that complicated. The actual training is not the most important part, it's very easy to find good training plans. If you want to try to break 4:00, you just have to commit to a training plan and stick to it, at least for a year or two. Whether you go Daniels, Tinman, Rubio, or anything in between, you have to stick with that. They can all work, but too often people start with a training plan, aren't getting immediate results, and switch to another one. It will take time to adjust to a new type of training, and if you mix it up too much you won't get the intended results.
Can you run a sub 50 second 400m, and a sub 14:35 5k? Start there......
Run 36 meters @ sub 4 minute mile pace . Add 1 meter every day and keep the same pace. In 1 year you will be a sub 4 miler.

Breaking 4 minutes isn't an accomplishment.
If I can somehow broad jump more than 9 feet right now then that's more of an accomplisment than any mile record or anyone ever running below 4 minutes. I'm at 8 foot 7 inches currently on the gym mat. And that's a current PR for the gym in tennis shoes.
The only thing that matters or counts is what I do. Nothing you all do counts. Nobody cares what you do.
Nobody cares that you're a twink and you like running distance. All of your training is in vain.
So technically I don't even understand the point of this thread. What's the point ?

The lack of brain power in this forum is astounding at times.
I ve run 49 - 1.50 - 4.08 - 8.30 for 3k
off about 30 miles a week with 2 times about 3-4miles off treshold work, 2miles of race pace work and 3miles of Vo2max work.
Probably could hit 48-1.49 high at a perfect race ( run only one 400m)
30 miles and these PB's , seems great !
You need to vastly improve your endurance. You'll be able to run sub four after a couple more years of 60+ miles a week, and longer tempo and 1k or mile repeat workouts. You should be able to do a 5 mile tempo at 5 min/mile pace.

This is a 100% guarantee of running a sub 4 min mile . Please enjoy!
You have to run: maxVO2 20 x 400m at 66 sec and rest down to 120 bpm , lactate threshold intervals 600-1600m at 4:48-4:50 min / mile , easy runs at 6-6.10 mile pace and at last repetitions at 60 sec/ 400m . That`s it! Works every time. Why try to make it look complicated ? - The Wizard -
