It's getting ridiculous. Women got bitten over 200 times (doctor stopped counting after 200), and dragged in the woods by a pack of 10 off-lead dogs with their owners nowhere to be found. If a car driver wouldn't have seen her, she would probably be dead.
Now the police says they can't do anything to the dogs, the owners or for her damages because "in this county it is legal to have unleashed dogs".
Isn't this a big flaw in our law system? If a bear attacks/kills someone, they are allowed to be put down. But if a group of dogs do it, they are still protected? Are they protected because they are dogs, and not bears, or because they have humans and owners whereas the bears are on their own?
This woman will probably have lifetime psychological damages, and might be afraid to walk home now because those dogs could just reappear and maybe finish the job that they started..
