When I was Jail/Federal Detention Center in Miami, There was a man who everybody said was The Mob leader after John Gotti died, his name was Nicholas Carrozo, He was a very good man, he had money put in Commisary for a lot of inmates who did not have Commisarry, He was even my roommate for 3 weeks, (The Psychologist thought I was a risk for suicide, so a few times I got roommates, but most of the time I had a cell/room to myself) He said there is no Mafia, that they just call Italians that, When the John Gotti movie was on, he did not watch, I asked him if he knew Gotti personally, and he said yes since he was 7 years old, he said his brother in law was the manager for former 140 pound Boxing Champion James (Buddy) Mcgrit, he said he had 19 Lawyers working on his case, including his nephew, He came over and yelled at my Lawyer saying to get me out of there he said I have never done more than 3 months and this guy writes a letter saying he feels like killing himself and has been in here 10 months (My Crime was 0-6 Months, but they gave me a year so they would have more time to get me to a place to get Psychological help, which, I they never got me to, but they did pay for me to have a Psychologist and Psychiatrist for 3 years. Anyways if he really was a Mafia Person, than the stereotype that all Mafia/Mob people are bad is untrue.
