Would you say the same thing if she had an additional 100lbs on her?

they need to have a policy on flip flops. A lot of ugly dirty feet out there
She's wearing basically just a bra and no shirt. Typically a shirt of some sort is required in public places like a plan. While she looks okay, I understand why the airline kicked her off. It would have been better though if they had just asked her to put a shirt on rather than causing a scene by kicking her off the plane. I have no idea why people suddenly have decided it's okay to walk around in just a bralette.

Wtf are you even trying to type? Are you drunk?
The airline apologised.
/thread.
I don’t think it’s that. Crop tops, with or without sleeves, are relatively common here and no-one would look twice at someone wearing one, except in a posh restaurant. The problem seems to be that the airline classed it as beachwear simply because it showed a lot of skin. She could have worn a plunging top with no sleeves showing off a large cleavage and it would have caused no problems.
I don’t know if you’re aware of Thomas Cook passengers but I’ve been in their flights and there’s a lot of inappropriately dressed quite drunk people flying out to Spain for cheap all inclusive booze filled holidays. She is just dressing as she would in the resort.
I personally don’t find it as offensive as the large sweating man who sat next to me in a string type vest on one of their flights with more flesh on show than her. Waistband risen up to expose a large expanse of stomach, nipples visible, arms uncovered. Who tried to talk to me the entire duration of the fought, despite me ignoring him. But because she’s a young woman, and the British like to police the appearance of young women and girls, from school age upwards, Thomas Cook obviously decided to target her and not the many other inappropriate passengers on their flights.
Their dress code policy doesn’t include any written description of appropriate or inappropriate clothing anyway and so is unendurable, which is why they’ve had to apologise.

Perhaps you are grossly deficient in your capacity to comprehend coherent English.
Postman Pat. Postman Pat. Postman Pat and his black and white cat.
Is what she is wearing illegal. No.
It's all equal rights for ugly women that's the problem here.
The thing is you can't reasonably police necklines or sleeves. Just not possible, they vary too much. I have no problem with string straps etc. She wasn't in the resort, she was on a plane. And I don't agree with the string vest either, he sounds grim. If that guy had been in a sports vest or vest made of any continuous material then I think that's OK. But the fact is there needs to be some level of acceptable clothing - is a bikini top and jeans OK? The simplest way = stomach exposed = no. The fact is that looks like a bra/bralette/underwear which is an issue.
I honestly don't think this is OK... it's a bra.

As if cabin crew have nothing else to worry about but desperate-for-attention "look at me" showoffs that pander to the obvious inclinations of (potentially drunk) young men.
it i v similar to this one from american eagle... is that ok?

If she can wear this on a plane I see no reason why Sacha Baron Cohen can't show up in his mankini.
She's wearing more clothing than what many high schools provide their female track athletes.

Fair enough. That is a bra. The larger question is, should attire be policed?
Well, let's see here wrote:

That is a stupid argument. She isn’t running in a track meet, she is in public and traveling on a plane. I run in short running shorts and a sports bra all summer (yes, I’m female) but I would never go to the airport and get on a plane wearing just running shorts and a sports bra.
Again I don't think she did anything wrong but I still wouldn't do it myself if I was her, mostly for hygiene purposes. Would you really want your bare skin touching the surface of a seat. That is a lot of exposure. It must feel horrible if she has to fly and then go about her whole day with public stuff on her skin. I would want a shower as soon as possible. I hate touching door handles and buttons as my skin gets into contact with all those public potential germs. Think of how many people touched the surface before you did. Yuck.

Idiot.
Who wants to EVEN look at you!? Never mind sit near your disgusting skin. You tumour oozing warty dirt bag.
I’ve flown in flip flops. With a vest and shorts on. I wasn’t asked to put more clothes on.
Out and out sexism, delivered by stewards wearing silk scarves and waistcoats...?
Did the airline publish a dress code that amends beyond legal requirements?
All women should just wear burquas, anyway.
