There's something to be said about a 4 mile tempo + 4 x 200 cut downs. Not a barn burner workout, always walk away feeling good.
Mine is 4x2k repeats at 6:00-6:20 pace.
4x 200m hard, 200m easy, 200m hard, 400 m easy, 800m hard, 400m easy
Right intensity is key, as with all workouts.
