thanks, found it there. surprising the women who dropped out, just leaving the winner, salpeter, mathathi, and gebre as the only 4 under 70.08 -
Okombo & Moen DNS?
-
2017. She's a dual citizen.
Looks like Amy had a bad day at the office. -
Did Amy go for it & then fall off? It was billed as a AR attempt in the IAAF press release. Solid times all the way around. Looks like a big racing weekend in Europe. A lot of good marathons and half marathons at this time of year.
-
On the livestream Cragg looked like she was suffering real bad towards the end. Moen DNS.

She always looks like she’s suffering at the end in all of her races. She typically empties the tank -
highlight video, nice to see Adidas make the podiums instead of wall-to-wall 4%

At 7k (approximate) she was already 2 minutes behind the leading women -

Why an AR in Prague? It has great fields but I don't think it's the fastest course. Tomorrow in Berlin would have been maybe more ideal? Or Hannover even? -

Because tomorrow in Berlin she would get absolutely smoked by over 30 seconds per mile by Sifan Hassan, and it’s not BTC’s style to confront their weaknesses like that. -

Yea, I mean I was just reporting out what I had read. From what I've heard, Prague is very fast & so is Berlin. I feel like every time the IAAF does a write-up previewing a road race and an American is running they dub it a record attempt of sorts.
Amy ran 5:18 @ the Road to Gold event which was a little over 8 miles on the hilly ATL Trials course. Would have figured that she took that event at half marathon effort & would have been ready for 1:09-ish on a flat/fast course. She's still on the comeback trail and it can be tough to travel to Europe to race. Wonder where we'll see her next -- US Half or 25km Champs are the first two weekends in May. Maybe we'll see a track 10k or some other spring/summer road races. -
Wow, a 73 that is awful needless to say
-
Cragg...lets be honest. A horrible race and/or result.
But in 7th, it’s great to see Henry Rono back!! Must be sober and at least 60 years old.
