What system? The system of graduating high school and applying for college admission? I'm not sure what you mean.
You didn't directly address my question. So: Would you not be upset if the admissions spot that would (not a hypothetical "should," but a "would") have been yours or your kid's had this pay-for-admissions scheme not existed, instead went to one of these kids?
I mean, one kid sought admission as a pole-vaulter though he'd never participated in the sport in his life. One kid sought admission as a water polo athlete though his school didn't even participate in the sport.
This is beyond egregious. Aren't you offended by it?
