I appreciate your view. I have a couple of procedures each year that require being under, so they seem pretty routine to me, though I hope the doctors involved don't see it quite that way :-)
To me, not waking up from general anesthesia sounds like a pretty sweet way to go. And security for my wife and kids is more important to me than anything at this point in my life. Again, I am living a fine life. But it will very likely end in the next 10 years and I don't really see much on the horizon that is worth more than my family's security.
