Sad time for the once "mighty" Mo. Rupp had a sub 60 prior to his marathon last year.
Looks like this is the end of the mobot.
Editor's note: The OP is either an idiot or troll. Farah won the race in blustery conditions in a 3-way sprint over Bashir Abdi and former London Marathon champ Daniel Wanjiru. Afterwards, he expressed optimism about his London Marathon prospects.

I didnβt watch the big half, so idk if mo was going for time or not, but it was super windy in London today and yesterday.
I ran another half just outside of London and the wind was brutal. -
Last year he ran 1:01:40 btw

lol it was so windy today if you want to say someone is done say kipsang is done he did 1:04:07 -
It is unfortunate that Mo has never had the opportunity to run a fast time during his short career (excluding his two fast 1500m in Monaco).
Once again, external factors have affected his time. -

Were you in London today? Oh, and he won. Beat his time from last year on a very bad weather day.
The weather is atrocious. Remember Boston...what happened to Gaylen that day? πππ
God bless Mohammed. -

20-30mph winds.
Go Mo. -
Weather was certainly weird today.
I was out and ran my own 90 mins in London which included going and cheering some of my club mates in the Big Half. Yes it was incredibly windy (up to 40mph gusts apparently, solidly 15-20mph though) but the wind was coming almost directly from the West, meaning the runners had about 50-60% of the race with a tailwind, 30% with a brutal headwind and the rest with a crosswind.
The elites all bemoaned the weather yet plenty of people I know ran big big PBs, some of which were quite unexpected too.
Comparing it to Boston is insane. -

Lol. Mo had a wittle wind? Awwww. Takes so little to derail that snowflake. Meanwhile, in Boston last year, it was much colder, blowing harder, and raining hard! People were drenched and getting hypothermic...resulting in most of the elite field dropping out. Remember in Chicago last year...Galen the Great ran a friggin 2:06 with an injury!! No one else would have enough toughness to have finished that marathon. -

I remember MOHAMMED beating Rupp in Chicago. Decimated him. Destroyed him. -

Lol. yeah. Beat an injured Rupp by only a few seconds. Never beating a healthy Rupp.
Want to tell me who leads the head to head? ππ
Nice racist username too. -
OP, you suck. Winning is what matters, not time.

right but the op is claiming his time is so slow that he is done. despite running faster than last year in worse conditions -

Damn. How bad did he get beat? -
Mo - 22
Rupp - 1
Head to head
If it was 12-9, or 10-7, then fair enough in terms of banter...but itβs 22-1! Thatβs absolute domination. -

Rupp has won 2 world class marathons. Farah only one.

Rupp has only won one world major marathon, a watered down Chicago field. -
Galen is a marathoner and we're talking about the marathon. When facing each other head to head and healthy it is now:
Rupp:0
Farah: 0
