Can I go set a collegiate record even though I'm not on the college track team?

Yes , but it may not be an NCAA Collegiate record.

Can this 600 to 800 Conversion be Real? it says 1:55.3 and Outdoors is faster. I expected maybe mid 1:57 to low 1:58.
And I know at this age she probably does not have the Endurance to run her converted 600 time into a similar 800 time, still

Well done. I particularly appreciate the greater frequency of Americans who are willing to go to the front in middle and long distance races. It has made me sick for decades to watch one stiff stretch running American moron after another.
I don't care about outliers. If you give me the outlier example you are a fool. I enjoyed Ato Boldon emphasizing during the telecast that it is so difficult to cede ground at highest level. No kidding. Our American coaches apparently have been brain dead regarding that reality for a half century or more. -
