Why wasn't Kraft given name suppression if only a suspect? In cases where "victims" are given name suppression, why aren't suspects?
Shouldn't name suppression be standard until conviction?
With a few exceptions, all courts are open to the public so it would hard to keep arrests confidential. The logic is you don't want justice to be meted out behind closed doors.
If a celebrity is arrested it's likely to likely to be leaked to the media, anyway.

You are incorrect. If a judge imposes name suppression it is illegal under penalty of obstruction of justice to reveal that name. Also, names do not have to be mentioned in court, just referred to as "accused".
And how come victims successfully have their names suppressed?

Defendants are only involved in secret courts, if F.I.S.A. (Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act) court. All defendants arrested for pandering in county or state court suffer publicly. If Carlos the Jackal were arrest today, he would have gone to F.I.S.A. court.
"I think he should do it," John says ... "Why not educate yourself? It makes him look good. He's like the mayor of his city ... why not?"
"It only shows he has a better education and when he can advise other people on what NOT to do wrong even if he made a mistake or not he has the education."
John continued ... "Life is about education even at his age, at anybody's age."
"Billionaires are actually billionaires because they keep educating themselves. He's no different."

Kraft has filed fiery new documents in his prostitution case in Palm Beach County -- slamming officials for putting hidden cameras inside of massage rooms as a ridiculous "governmental overreach." "Florida resorted to the most drastic, invasive, indiscriminate spying conceivable by law enforcement -- taking continuous video recordings of private massages in which customers would be stripping naked as a matter of course -- in order to prosecute what are at most misdemeanor offenses."
Kraft says because we do not live in a police state -- and because government must answer to the rule of law -- the tapes must never go public.
The New England Patriots owner continues his attack ... saying, "Law enforcement had no satisfying justification for going to such extreme, invasive lengths just to investigate run-of-the-mill suspicion of solicitation."
Kraft says ... because of other evidence collected in the case -- including positive semen tests found in the spa's trash -- there was no need to plant the hidden cameras to "build a solicitation case around low-level consensual sex acts."
There's more ... Kraft also says the narrative about the sting operation targeting human trafficking is BS -- since officials have no real facts proving human trafficking ever occurred at the Orchids of Asia Day Spa visited by Kraft.
"Law enforcement peddled these falsehoods to try and manufacture a patina of necessity [to put cameras in the massage rooms], where none exists."
https://www.tmz.com/2019/03/28/robert-kraft-says-massage-video-illegally-obtained/And they made up their own bomb scare so they could evacuate the whole strip mall to secretly put those cameras in.
How much will this cost taxpayers if EVERY guy there demands a jury trial?
Kraft has the money to really stick it to them.
Hopefully Craft follows through and does some damage to the police department. What he should do is find out the pigs involved and hire private investigators to expose their shady lifestyles, adultery, etc.
Pigs are society's cancer and should be dealt with accordingly.
He's still getting a big find and a 6 month sitdown from the NFL.
How has this case expose affected the business of other massage parlours, in FL or elsewhere USA?

Billionaires usually are not social revolutionaries. Billionaires usually see cops as loyal puppies. Most in law enforcement see themselves as servants to billionaires. Kraft will not try to make war with cops. He's fighting to get the charges dismissed. Kraft does not really want to go to trial. Study John Nash, PhD and Prisoner Dilemma. Kraft is bluffing.

If he gets to the point in which the trial is going to occur he will plead to a lesser charge.
Massage-parlor lady then sells access to Mar-a-lago! For those who’ve never lived in South Florida, this is actually pretty tame stuff. Once got stopped for expired plates in Coral Gables, they called for backup, and 10 cops tossed our car. I think we were the first vehicle they ever saw without drugs, guns, or prostitutes. They were so shocked, my friend lectured them for 5 minutes and they just took it in silence.
A normal traffic stop ends in enough goodies for the cops & the higher ups, clearly.

isn't it more likely he is steering the conversation away from Kraft?
Let's make a bet, shall we?
I will give five to one odds.
Or a Kraft-linked source leaked it to Shefter, not Shecter, who can't name it until corroborated by an authoritative source.
In any event, still waiting for those bigger names while the Boston Globe runs pro Kraft puff pieces every couple of days.
What I would like to know is when he began whoring.
