Interestingly, January 31, Trump apparently was among the liberal social justice warriors who initially said about the first reports of the Smollett "assault":
'At a press conference Thursday, the president was asked to comment about the reportedly racist and homophobic Jan. 29 assault on the actor, which Chicago police are investigating as a “possible hate crime.”
“That I can tell you is horrible,” Trump said. “I’ve seen it. Last night. It’s horrible. Doesn’t get worse.”
So, he thought it was real at the time and reacted the same way as anyone.
And if Trump had indicated otherwise, or just said "lets see what the investigation brings", can you imagine the outcry from SJW's, looney lefties, AOC, Pelosi, people like you, etc.
One other thing that nobody is talking about is this old guy is likely a carrier of an onco viral form of HPV (probably from sleeping around while he was married) as his wife died of ovarian cancer (which is typically caused by HPV). So he is running around town knowingly exposing these exploited sex workers and their johns to a life threatening disease. If he had HIV and were doing the same thing, he would face criminal prosecution in many states. Guy’s a creep.

Look, no Robert Kraft fan, but given he can hire the very best criminal attorney in the nation, the prosecution will have to fight very hard (and at great expense) to get this misdemeanor charge to stick. Let's not be naive about the nature of the criminal justice system - money really matters. No argument that irrespective of the criminal outcome, this damages Kraft's reputation, and the NFL, too.
This isn't a murder trial. If there is a video there's not much Kraft's high-price attorneys can do about.
Really?
I too am a Jewish billionaire and was caught pimping out under-age girls to other elites and I got a walk.

It's an old story, the Chinese preying on their own people. Go into the kitchen of any big city Chinese restaurant and youll find indentured servants.

The fact that he would visit a place like this on multiple occasions instead of just hiring a Suzy Favor Hamilton type means that Kraft gets off on the human trafficking element. He gets off on exerting his power over the helpless.
This is a world different than hiring a high price call girl. These ladies were helpless.
I doubt he knew, lets calm down here.......
These stories never amount to anything. For starters, soliciting prostitution is barely even considered illegal... it is right down there with smoking weed as far as things the police give a damn about. Secondly, he has the best of the best lawyers and is going to handle the situation perfectly. The charges will most likely be dropped.
As for the human trafficking and minors possibly being employed at this spa, Kraft will not be the one answering for these crimes. And fwiw, I do agree that he is a scumbag for choosing to pay for his sex at a Chinese spa since it is almost guaranteed that he is supporting human trafficking by doing so. I have just never heard of the clients being blamed for this even if they should be held partly responsible.
The NFL may slap him on the wrist and he obviously is going to be made fun of a lot in the media. But is anyone really surprised that a rich old man is a bit of a perv? This is nothing more than some random filler that will delight comedians, late night talk show hosts, and Patriots haters for a few days until Jussie finds another way to step up the drama again.
They'll hit him with a $500k fine for throwing the league in disrepute.
And if they dig deep and find that he was there because he knew the women were trafficked? That'll be a game changer.
Whatever happens, he is due to step down from the Pats after this.

I am sure these are the only two times that this 78 year old man has ever used prostitutes.
This is the kind of behavior that you take up in your late seventies one would think.
I hate the Patriots organization as much as anybody, but Kraft's team of $1,200/hr lawyers are going to squash this. It will definitely damage their reputation though, but in time nobody will really care, just like the previous cheating scandals that hit the Patriots organization.

squash? don't know about that but this is what will happen:
There's a period of time between the last OTAs and the beginning of Training Camp which is really the only period of time in which no one is paying much attention to the NFL. This is when you will hear of the conclusion of this caper.
Kraft will quietly pay a fine for the lowest of charges but the NFL will likely fine him a hefty sum as a "stupidity" penalty for not getting his jollies in more discreet space such as a home, boat or classier hotel.
The fine will be in the form of a contribution to fighting sex trafficking and Kraft will be able to put out a statement professing a misunderstanding of what was actually happened at the "spa" but, since he's now just found out about the horrors of human trafficking, he's going to try and help out monetarily.
Just book it now because this will be the ultimate ending.
don't forget he is also linked to human trafficking...
He is totally screwed. Even if he get's cleared the other owners will probably vote him out under the ethics clause when you buy a team

Doubt it, he probably has dirt on most of the owners(and other elites high up in society). And if they take away his team, the skeletons will come out of the closet.
The point is that Trump thought it was real at the time, as many did. So, the basis of your narrative that this allows you to condemn those to the left of the Nazis is false. The proper response in the absence of direct evidence at the beginning of any of these stories is to condemn violence in general and wait for the investigation to determine what actually happened, if anything.
He was there because he likes trafficked prostitutes? That's pretty kinky. And if there is a video, how are his attorneys going to get his charges dropped? If they can somehow successfully argue that the video was illegal, so what. He will avoid some probation and community work, but the damage to his reputation will be the same. And it's likely the police wouldn't have used video if it could possibly be rejected by a court.

Except HPV doesn't cause ovarian cancer.
And to address your other stupid comment about HIV, if he knowingly had HIV and used a condom, it really isn't a big deal either. Condoms are highly effective at preventing HIV transmission.
Why does everyone characterize him as a perv? He was looking for a hand job. Big deal, he wanted some sex. Think of all the men in this world who have risked their reputation, money etc, for a few minutes of physical pleasure. There must be something wrong with the dynamics of our culture to vilify sex so strongly.
The human trafficking issue is not good. But Kraft does not have to answer to that. If this was legal, we wouldn’t have human trafficking.
