Applying gun control logic, it really was the car that did the killing.
Everyone should be required to walk everywhere, way too many people are killed in car collisions.
He ran over a guy who was walking... on an icy freeway at night.

That's the big question. Dude walking on the freeway at night. What the heck? His car broke down, apparently, but how is he not more careful?
Dude probably deserved it
An ESPN article I read said that there was a car stopped in middle of highway after an earlier collision and Boeheim swerved to avoid hitting it but then struck a person carelessly walking in freeway. No alcohol involved.

Yes- his car was in the middle of the road and he was on the side, walking.
I feel bad for Boeheim.
What ever happened to Caitlyn Jenner after she struck and killed some lady (I think)?

No, the car is designed and intended for transportation. A gun is designed and intended to effectively kill living things.
It's good to control things that are specifically designed and intended to kill living things.

She wasn't speeding or drunk driving. She might have been tailgating or being inattentive, but nothing that would result in any type of prosecution. I'm sure she is being sued, though.

It seems if you are tailgating another car and crash into that car and kill a person, that should be characterized as reckless driving and prosecuted.
Tragic. It's against the law to get out of your car on the interstate for this reason, but there's really no alternative when your car is stranded in the middle of the roadway as the result of an accident.

You are absolutely correct. Which is why this unregulated 10 lb bucket of rat poison is so offensive to me.
https://www.amazon.com/Havoc-116372-Rat-Mouse-Bait/dp/B004WUP03GBecause you're a rat. Or just look like one, with a ratface.
I literally have a good looking face. I don't know why you want to be so mean when we were just having a civil discussion about killing things.

I believe he was still a he when it happened

That was Bruce Jenner. He disappeared.

Yet we regulate the transfer of ownership of cars far more tightly than the transfer of ownership of firearms. In the gun debate, hardly anyone talks about the fact that most guns used in crimes by criminals were obtained via straw purchase.

Ding ding ding.... we have a strawman!
Straw purchases are illegal. Boom! Roasted.
