Where’s the guy who said this attempt wouldn’t happen because there was no regularly scheduled track meet that day? Anyway, hopefully Kejelcha gets it this time.

Those types never return under the same name. Have you forgotten what forum you're on?

I thought Flotrak was the one who broadcasted everything from BU and now runnerspace has this event (thank God now we will have some quality)
Wonder what happened to result in the shift
Early bird got the worm (runnerspace)

Nope, right here. Haven't seen this happen before and figured with it being a conference meet that they couldn't throw a random event on the end of it. Thought that they were going to do it at Last Chance and that there was a miscommunication on the date. Lots of big names coming to BU in the next two weeks
I'm curious on who will race it with him.
will probably look like cheserek's 3:49 unless there's some guys in the US close to 3:5x low shape (I was thinking Centrowitz has been awfully quiet all indoor season, but he might just be sitting it out)
He's lucky Berega won't be there.
The dope has seriously gone to his head if he thinks he will get El Gourrouj's 3:43. If Bekele was given whatever he is on then the WR would be sub 3:40

He's going for the indoor mile WR which is 3;48.45, not 3;43. Also, he almost got it a couple weeks ago.

Yeah, it may be just like that. Set up record attempt. I have mixed feeling between seeing that and watching a real race. I thought the Ches thing was fun to see. What do all of you think?

No it's Cheserek that Flotrack likes to hype up
It does seem like Flotrack covers only HS/college meets (even D2/D3) rather than pro events these days

I don't have a problem with it, it's an attempt to be the fastest person to ever run a mile on a standard indoor track from a stationary start. In other words, the indoor mile world record.

But for a few years they were the only ones streaming from BU. Believe me I am glad it is runnerspace doing it no doubt it will be a better production
3:47.00-3:47.49
100% short course

Tip of the hat to you. Certainly doesn't happen often.
