1. There aren't qualified female pacers like there are for the men. Anyone who can hang with Paula through 21K or 32K wouldn't suspend her career to take the job to be a rabbit.
2. There's some fine logic, any credibilty you had up to that point just set a sonic boom as it departed through the window.
3. It's a foregone conclusion that PR can beat all these women 10 times out of 10.
4. Actually, NO record attempts are "real" races, nearly all are time trials with rigged fields. When has Ngeny been in a race where El G was gunning for a WR? So, are you at least consistent and consider those who pace KK, Geb, etc. in their WR attempts to be fools, too? Why this sudden derision for an athlete who is taking advantage of a practice that's been in use and accepted for years? Is misogyny getting the better of you?

I can tell you within 10 seconds, what Radcliffe's time will be at the London Marathon, before the race even starts.
Ok, so let's have it.

Edith......
we all know that dunes runner is a bit of a Radcliffe hater so it will probably go something like this......
''Paula blast's through half way in 68 muinutes, but then, the time car in front has a problem with it's break's, Paula is too busy running her competitorrs into the ground to realise this and charges into the back of it. Unfortunately injuring her leg/arm/head or something and doesnt finish''......''meanwhile Saint Catherine who was wrongly robbed of her record at Chicago just because Paula was able to run faster than her, gets a lift from a man on a motorbike at 6 miles, is dropped of just after 24 miles to start running again to recalim the world record, hurray..!!!''........''two days after this years London Marathon the IAAF ratify Catherines new record and state that they did not see any man on a bike giving Catherine a lift, as they claim to all have developed myopia during the race but thankfully this has now cleared up. And anyway, as they said they only disapprove if Paula breaks the record not anyone else''
