1 )Who was the athlete that had IV fluids just before a breakthru race once?
2) Who was the athlete that got into a massive twitter war with another of her countries athletes?
I can't remember who this was. Anyone remember? Seriously can't remember.

So many baseless rumors on this thread. Somebody is butt hurt and trying to stir things up

That would be the 7 African men who finished ahead of Sharp at the World Champs ? Or maybe you mean the 13 African men who finished ahead of her at Commonwealth Games ?

That would be the three that finished ahead of her in the 800m in the Rio Olympics, the most prominent of whom is currently at a hearing to see whether she will be required to take medication to enable her to continue running against women.
Hold whatever dislikes you may have against a person, but many athletes hopes and inspirations would have been ruined by the loss of an Olympic medal, however "slow" you think a 1.57 in an Olympic final is or how "lowly" you think bronze is.
So Sharpe’s 6th place in Rio would have automatically transposed into 3rd place, had the first 3 finishers not been in that final. In other words, replace those 3 with 3 different athletes, and those 3 athletes all finish behind Sharp. That’s like saying that Rupp would have won if Farah wasn’t racing.
As for Sharp’s PB, that is due to the same 3 athletes dragging everyone, not just Sharp, to quick times. How many PBs and NRs have been set in races with those athletes ? People are happy to take the times achieved only with the help of the very people they don’t want to race against. If you want to call the results unfair then you have to throw out the times with them. Can’t have it both ways.

Sharp was not 4th at the Olympics .

Has Mahon trained Olympic and world champions previously?
I could be wrong, but I think his best performer was Morgan Uceny, who won the DL title in 2011, and was rated #1 in the world by T&FN. I'm not sure he coached either Willard or Kastor in their prime.
Terence has coached Uceny, Willard, Kastor, Rhines, and Alistair Cragg to name a few, so I would say he has had some success in coaching
These were the actual 2016 women's 800m Olympic final results:
G
Caster SEMENYA
RSA
1:55.28
S
Francine NIYONSABA
BDI
1:56.49
B
Margaret Nyairera WAMBUI
KEN
1:56.89
4.
Melissa BISHOP
CAN
1:57.02
5.
Joanna JOZWIK
POL
1:57.37
6.
Lynsey SHARP
GBR
1:57.69
7.
Marina ARZAMASOVA
BLR
1:59.10
8.
Kate GRACE
USA
1:59.57
I checked out Lynsey's age - 28 - so ( much speculation here...) I guess a bash at a place in Tokyo, then maybe a world champs, and then call it a day.
I hear she has a law degree (scots I think ) so post running perhaps a career as a solicitor beckons after first tackling & passing the obligatory diploma in legal practice & 2 year on-the-job traineeship. She will be early 30's at least but the stardust around her will have her snapped up easily by an employer.
If she fails to reach Tokyo then perhaps she will embark on the law career all the quicker. Or maybe even something else !

Sharp ran 1:57.71 too. She also one that race - wasn't dragged around.
Who is coaching Butchart now?
He's not with Mahon anymore and there was some rumours he was either going back to Derek Easton who coached him through to 2016, or would be coached by Stephen Haas from April 2019 onwards?

Appears to be Haas with all the time spent in Flagstaff. Ive seen him around quite a bit this year. Unfortunately, I've seen very little of Cheserek.
I wrote this in February and both athletes moved back. I am very happy they took my advice as both are back to their best!
Any other elite that wants my advice I am open to help ?

Can you make Mac Fleet go back to Andy Powell? Nike will likely drop him soon. He can sign with Adidas (if he can get any contract at all) and return to glory.
