I don't know how fast/not fast the guy who made the off color comment is; but why would some random guy come out and say such a mean thing? Doubtful that he's ever even met Sam, let alone know him.
Sam and Amos both have dual citizenship. Both are fluent in German. Both have family living in Germany.
Why the eff is a 30 minute 8k runner talking $hit about a pro? Are you kidding me? Ironically, he has a very German name.

you know what, I just scoured their Instagram and couldn't find anything. I take it back, my bad hahahaha
Typical. Write untruths and expect everyone else to take it as fact. This is the mantra of this site.
I don't know about Amos, but Parsons is not fluent in German by any means. I watched his allegiance switch video (where he is speaking/reading German) and it is very obvious he has a hard time pronouncing the words. But he maybe the new jersey will give him motivation and a chance to improve that. :)

Sorry if I have caused a misunderstanding. I didn't want to allude to money, but wanted to point out that they have dual citizenship by birth so none of the two betrays either country.
Whatever, Parsons quit on trying to compete as an American. It's not like he'd never competed as an American or never took USATF event prize money as an American before deciding. He was perfectly fine with it, in fact he continued to compete for and win USATF prize money at Club XC even after he got his German passport due to having the white flag at getting his behind kicked at USATF championships. Shady, cowardly weasel. That's what your friend is.
55 last 400 for parsons with a crazy 26 last 200

It's easy to say these things anonymously, isn't it? Be a man and post your real name. You obviously have an axe to grind.
It's easy to say them when you really feel them, actually. His behavior speaks for itself. . Anonymityle at all to do with it, and you should know, "real man." I don't care if you don't like it, truth hurt?
Love the irony of you calling someone else cowardly, hahaha. Good stuff.

Really? My guess would have been that as long as he is a member of A, he is expected to try his best as a member of A and on the other hand is eligible for the benefits that A provides. And I repeat that his legal status includes German citizenship by birth, whether or not he is in possession of a German passport.
He's an American't
He isnt a native and He is white so He is of course european like most americans
Chill out mate, I admitted I was wrong. What more do you want me to do? If you don't like the site you can always just not go on it hahaha

The truth? The truth is that they both have dual citizenship. What don't you understand about that? Still waiting on your name. I think that's only fair.
Okay.

To go by a post-race interview that he gave (hopefully not geo-blocked)
https://www.leichtathletik.de/tv/video-detail/video-detail/detail/19727-sam-parsons-deutsche-zuschauer-sind-die-besten/he lacks indeed practice, but my impression was that he will improve quickly if he wants to.

that would have been a bad look if they wouldn't have been able to give interviews afterwards in German

Correct. White America *is* European. Mainly British. For example what language are we all speaking. 1776 was a bunch of brits beating up other brits.

That all depends on how you define "mainly" and "British." You might get away with "mainly" = "the largest group" but even that isn't obvious.
