Tefera 3:31.04 WR
Kjelcha right behind, outkicked
Tefera WR! Wow that rabbit he had through 1400 was perfect.
loads of NRs, PBs and SBs
Oh wow!!!!
Samulel Tefera Eth new World Record 3:31:04!!
It's obvious that these guys are racing on that fine line of human performance limits. El Guerrouj's Mile WR was 3:48.45 and Kejelcha races 3:48.46... now Tefera takes down El G's 3:31.18 by racing 3:31.04... we're right on that ceiling until the next massive talent arrives. Super exciting. Bittersweet for Kejelcha, but this guy might just run 7:22 indoors.

I wonder if this will be a theme in Kejelcha’s career?
The best pace maker that ever ran?

Nah. A little more time with Alberto and he will be crushing everyone in the 5 and 10 from 500m out. He will win a minimum of 3 global titles outdoors.

Felt a little bad for Kejelcha at Millrose, but gotta say I laughed at this one

Why did you laugh? The guy, Kejelcha, took the pace at 1000 meters and kept pushing until Tefera went around before the last bend. He ran a tough race, going for the time. Kejelcha did all the work for Tefera and is responsible for the WR as much as the pacers and Tefera
