But speaking from experience, don't date your co-workers unless you are convinced that you are soul mates. Usually a bad idea.
That last bit is BS depending on how you handle things. As a young buck, I slept with several co-workers and one was my boss. That situation was unique in that teams changed often based on client enagegements. My advice is play cool, don’t openly flirt or hit on anyone, and let any encounters take place naturally and away from the office.
My other piece of advice is don’t complicate things, especially one night stands. I never tried to “clarify where we stand” or try to make anything official. I didn’t grow up in the US though so I guess I was never wired to think like Americans and need to constantly qualify things. I never had a complaint or awkwardness at the office. Women knew where I stood and that I kept my mouth shut. Treated everyone with respect and got promoted when it was deserved. Intern and manager were the best experiences. The good old days! Some of you are on one some pretty weak sauce based on your stories.
