The only problem is this shoe is complete hype
I've run a few weeks now in the non-spring version of this shoe and the foam is nothing special
It's just EVA foam, it's not pebax, it's not TPU
It's not even a lot of foam like a Hoka, it's just "extruded" in a way to make it take up more volume and hold more air inside the bubbles.
Basically it's like "pool noodle" foam, go squeeze one at walmart or somewhere when you see a display.
This is also the first shoe to ever give me blisters ON THE UPPER, on the top of my feet around my ankles, it's just the weirdest thing.
They don't lock down well, and the bounce feeling is mushy.
Because it's EVA foam, they do not perform well at all near freezing or below.
Have not tried them in the rain yet so not sure if they a sponge like vaporflys seem to be.
This is essentially a 1% shoe at best because of it's light weight.
But you are never going to use it in any course that is not a straight line because you'll roll your foot on tight turns.
I definitely want there to be vaporfly competitors but this is not it.
