A good one! And I think Kiprop can get a huge indemnity for his name being dragged in the dirt. Of course it will be difficult for him to make a comeback but I hope he will.

So far, AIU/IAAF have been in charge, not WADA. And they seem to be quite sure to have a solid case, see for example here: https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2018/may/04/epo-suspect-asbel-kiprop-athletics-integrity-unit
The AIU said that despite this, it believed his positive test would not be reversed – although it conceded it would be up to a tribunal to decide. It also rejected Kiprop’s claim that the confidentiality of the proceedings had been breached by the AIU, and said Kiprop was wrong to claim he was offered a “reward” of being an IAAF ambassador on anti-doping.
(There was of course an extra thread about this here on letsrun last year.)

They dont say they have a solid case! On the contrary, the biggest mistake is admitted and the outcome is uncertain and determined by the tribunal.

So in short (I won't quote the whole thing again, that's very annoying) what you're saying is that you accept that Rosa has been responsible for dirty cheat after dirty cheat, but it's not his fault because he's a really good person and would never do such a thing cause Italians can't cheat.
Also, Kenya now has got over the problem because they told their athletes not to be naughty and that it doesn't work on them (being Kenyan) anyway.
Anything I missed? (I'll ignore the 'Kenya has the most stringent controls in the world' rubbish)
Controls in Kenya are NOW the most stringent in the world, genius. Easily verifiable by the AIU. No country’s athletes tested as much as Kenya’s top tier, and the team that shows up in Doha will be the most tested of any country in history. Certainly tested more than both British distance elites.
Can you prove what you say? I doubt it . Kenya is one of the countries in the world with highest level of corruption.
Ok, maybe not solid, but they say they still have a case, see for example
"The advanced notice of testing given by the Doping Control Assistant could not reasonably have caused EPO to be present in Mr Kiprop’s Sample and, as such, the departure does not invalidate the Adverse Analytical Finding."
This is quite different to these statements that caused me to respond here:
But yeah, this takes suspiciously long, even for the IAAF. Maybe one of their secret deals is being negotiated behind closed doors again, as the situation is embarrassing for everyone involved.
Renato, Thanks for posting. I agree that it certainly doesn't mean that the Rosas are dirty. There is a lot of corruption in Kenya so why wouldn't it extent to EPO? The problem with your argument is Dr. Rosa himself - Federico's father - told me in 2016 that a coach should know if the athlrte is doping. He was defending Beradelli as a good guy but saying it was kind of inexcusable that he didn't realize his athletes like Rita Jeptoo were doping. Here is what Dr. Rossa - who was coaching Jemima Sumgong - at the time said to me in 2016.
So Dr. Rosa says a smart coach should realize if they are doping and then Jemima SUmgong - his athlete - gets popped. An athlete who had a 2:28:32 marathon pb during her first 6 years of marathoning 2006-20012 but then turned into a world beater and Olympic champion because he supposedly had her train faster in practice? That looks laughable now.
No. She got good because she was a doper.
Anyway, I am not thrilled with being accused of being unfair to the Rosas. I was made to look like a fool after Sumgong got popped. Thus I think it's fair if our reporter wants to talk about the many prominent athletes that tested positive.
And you also mentioned Nike. We didn't mention Nike at all in our post but my argument all along has been, "If people like Nike or the agents INSIST on clean sport, then we'd be way cleaner than if testing got better."
I think it's way easy for an agent or sponsor to clamp down on it than it is to actually pop someone who truly knows how to microdose.
I do not trust Dr Rosa and his management at all! He is not as innocent as Canova wants to assert. It is a lot of corruption and dangerous people in some of Kenyas managements.
"but but but i kissed a tranny"
"but but but i aint tainted beef"
"but but but canova said it wouldnt work on me"
"NOP does L-carnatine injections! CRUCIFY THEM!! and the kenyans are just better, renato told me so"
"rupps on the sauce! centros on the sauce, hasay is RUDE, they are all dopers!!!!"
"rosa has no idea that his runners would try dope, and if they had listened to renato, they would know it only makes them slower, no scientific reasoning, but how can i question what renato says? i mean he has never coached a girl faster than my hero paula, but i still must never question him"
"ritz is a hero for leaving NOP!, which proves NOP is dirty, and if thats true then kenyans would leave rosa if his camp was dope central, and no one has left...thus its all a SCAM!!!"
i mean coevett might be an angry old racist brit, but come on guys stop making excuses for rosa, canova and the kenyans
its as if the brojos wish all white americans got busted for L-carnatine injections, and refuse to think something stinks in kenya coming down from the TOP camp gurus....sheesh
i wish i could write 15 paragraphs of mumbling lies and stupidity and be THANKED by the LRer sheep.
dudes have smart phones, kenya isnt some 3rd world dump where everyone is uneducated and superstitious.....they are not innocent babies and the italian management SPORT groups are not SAINTS.
but here i am rambling to deaf ears.....nope kenyans are pure as the falling snow, and renato is Jesus in the flesh...the only crime that the LR elite see is the androgel rub down with happy ending
its as simple as this....
if renato can convince the majority that EPO doesnt work, then guess what?
if EPO doenst work, then kenyans aren't/weren't cheating
if kenyans aret'n/weren't cheating, then it proves his theory that they are GENETICALLY superior to all humans (and that he is HEADS and SHOULDERS the best coach EVER)
if all this stays true, he remains a hero
if NOP is found to be doping....
then al sal is a villain, and the brojos will rejoice with a black page
oh and one more thing
what is ol sondre moen up to? i heard i was a piece of sh*t for saying he will never hit 2:05 again....lolz sorry buddy testing came down and you had to get "injured" didnt you

El K and his brother MindWeak are racist to the core but both seem to think Brits are fair game for their vicious prejudices.
Only today Kenya was officially ranked the 14th most corrupt country in the world (out of 180 countries) and the corruption is getting worse.

no sorry to correct you but el K and coevett are racists
el K is racists and a bigot against whites from british commonwealth countries, and coevett hates africans who have beaten his time of 3:30.77, and loves WHITES who come from british commonwealth countries... (notice how coevett doesnt really say anything nice about whites from non commonwealth countries???)

Nobody can accuse Chad of racism - he hates all Non-Americans equally. Notice he defends Rupp but Farah and any other NOP runner is guilty as hell.
And shouldn't he be banned at least from Canova's threads, given his previous threat?

I would bett that he misjudged the glow time of EPO (the sensitivity of the detection window of microdosing EPO has improved significantly). Also, didn't Kiprop appear on the Fancy Bear's leaked likely doping/suspicious list from the 2016 data base?
Mr Canova,
Your in a prominent position for the sport of running. Your affiliated with organizations that support your endeavor and extend to support this website, forgive me if I missed but have you rescinded your commentary about Africans and EPO? Until you show some candor your credibility is questioned.

Canova said the same repeatedly here on letsrun (as "evidence" for his athletes being clean) - before Jeptoo was caught.

Yes, and yes.
Kiprop was only "suspicious" though, not likely doping as Jager/Rupp et al. Would be so cool if the IAAF would now ban him for those "suspicious" data (a la Jeptoo), doubling the ban and having it start in February 2016.

You must be new, I equally doubt all runners who show the 4% gain or the sudden 4% slow down, ruppy poop is def one of them. Plus he was on test in high school did you forget? I use sarcasm with the NOP since the brojos ignorantly and blindly look confused about thyroid meds and macro vit D injections. These are either masking the micro dosing of hgh and EPO or helping maximize the micro dosing, or helping keep hormones in check from doping.
Who’s clean? Who knows but I’m not on this bandwagon that EPO works for everyone in the world except those who renato coaches. Do I think brits dope? Yes, do I think Americans dope? Yes
And yes I think Kenyans dope. I think Rono was close to clean WR cause the only dope he was on was booze.

RENATO can you talk about the preparation of Emile Cairess 2:06
Running for Bowerman Track Club used to be cool now its embarrassing
Hats off to my dad. He just ran a 1:42 Half Marathon and turns 75 in 2 months!
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
