Da hell is wrong with da weed? I run and smoke weed. Both are fine ways to unwind for a middle aged bloke.

Me too. I wouldn't have it any other way.
Better than killing your body with the (somewhat oddly) more LR acceptable "post-run beer" that slows your metabolism and obliterates your liver.
Yep. I find it better overall. Like if you wake up after drinking you may not even be hungover, but you kinda feel a burden during the day. Smoking weed has no such side effects and provides mental recovery. There's nothing like puffing a joint after 6 by 1200 @ 5k pace. You get deeper in touch with your body you feel it recover. I honestly think that MJ is a performance enhancing drug. I never get to win races, but as I grow older (40 now) and place higher in my age group I find it amusing to think that they may test me one day and well... :)))) But I only have like a 16:01 (ran it at 38) ability so that may never happen :)
I'll get my backyard certified as a marathon course, and host a marathon everyday, so that people can set records such as 1000 marathons by the age of 15
The double double-letter name has me concerned. Doubler or Scamwatcheroo look into his splits or GPS data yet?
If you actually look at his results and the frequency he runs, not to mention his interviews you’d realize that he doesn’t run every race flat out. He treats the majority of the marathons he did as training runs and occasionally runs a marathon for a fast time. He’s not a speed demon sure, but he also didn’t cheat.
i bet he's got one impressive base. i want to see how fast he'll run if he did intervals for a year.
Great 15 minutes of fame. Nobody will remember him in 5 years.
Look , another Todd Marinovich.
Or another Anton.
Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
Des Linden: "The entire sport" has changed since she first started running Boston.
Matt Choi was drinking beer halfway through the Boston Marathon
