Sounds like you're *fucked*.
Drive to unpaved trails and run in the snow
Or get on youtube and do a 30 minute HIIT workout. A change of pace every once in a while is a good thing.

I just attempted to go for a run, but the roads and sidewalks are completely iced over. I made it 2 miles at about 10:30 pace before calling it quits.
I don’t have access to a treadmill, what can I do to not miss out on a day of training?
There’s no way I can safely run outside today.
Ok. Thanks for letting us know.
I am remembering training in high school for indoor track outside in the woods in super deep snow, running with the guys for about five or 6 miles in deep snow. Good times.
Find a treadmill. Rookie
Rest days are essential. Use the time to work on other areas of your life.
Onanism
There is an excuse for you not to run waiting for you every day, look hard enough and you will find it.
Keep rationalizing and you will believe it.

you don't live within a 30-45 minute (or less) drive of a place that has a gym/treadmill?
where do you live?
Move to Boulder
Shoveling is a good cross training. Just shovel enough space so that you can run back and forth, or in a small circle.
Problem solved.

Run on the spot.
Great answers.
Running or even fast marching on the spot with decently high knees would be good. The OP could also do jumping jacks for an hour. Mix all of those up, adding a classic cross-country ski motion if you want.
All this requires a space no bigger than a yoga mat.
If you can't use those things to keep up the heartrate of a solid run, or even a tempo or fartlek if you want to work a bit, you aren't trying.
Order a mini trampette on Prime and get it delivered tomorrow

Wouldn’t shuffle running on ice be counter productive though
You don't have to shuffle on ice, just land more flat footed to get the most traction and to prevent slipping/falling.
It's what I did yesterday. Shortened stride with a flat foot push off, only about 2 of my 3 short miles had icy, snow packed sections.

You can run on ice, just adjust your stride. Also, if you can run on grass.
You clearly don't live in New England
Go to an underground parking garage

lololololol
Nobody who lives in a place with a legitimate winter would blithely suggest "you can run on ice" let alone the idea to "run on grass" in January? (Grass, what is that??)
Have you ever tried to run across a freshly Zambonied hockey rink??? No. Try that, then talk to me about doing so for 45-90 minutes.

Do those high knee things that that one old school runner did.
Yep, not wanting to miss a day in my goal to run every day for Ten Years, I once set some pillows done on the floor and ran in place for 40 minute.
It was like an easy shakeout, even broke a sweat.
