a. I can't argue personal taste. But almond 'milk' either has almond flavor or is tasteless. Hard to be both. I like its subtle flavor on my cereal. I also like the stronger flavors of coconut, pea, cashew, or even macadamia nut milk on my cereal.
b. Is tea also water in your opinion? How about skim milk?
c. I don't use coconut milk as a 1:1 substitute for cow's milk. I'm not a baby calf after all. There are plant-based 'milks' that come pretty close to cows' milk in overall nutritional content if that's your thing:
