Yeah jersey sucks as I have learned from moving there in September for a job. But the even better part is how in the Jersey City, none of the people really speak english. They all speak SPanish. Just another reason why Dirty Jersey is not the place to be.

I live on the PA/NJ border in Easton, PA. I love NJ. Where else do you have the mountans (nw NJ), the shore an everything else inbetween? The only thing that sucks, which is why I live right on the border, are NJ property taxes and car insurance.
NJ is the place repleted with lazy, obnoxious and rude drivers. if you notice there is absolutely no place for you to walk. if you do you will get killed by a raging idiot driving an SUV. another thing that really tears me up is the ponds in NJ... if you are not privilege to own a house next to the pond... you have no access to it! it is all about money, which is why i left the place long ago... well, it is fair to say that is the case for morris county where i lived for 2 excruciating years. route 10 is overcrowded. why on earth would people be dying to live in a place like this? i also get fine for getting into a minor car accident. it was a reckless driving ticket. how could the police force even consider fining people in minor car accidents when there is a stinging penalty from the insurance company? good bye NJ and the people there. NJ, you suck and you get stuck in high debt. remember, don't be stupid to listen to politicians who promise you not to raise taxes or lower them. it won't work. there is a cost to live in a society. if you elect a stupid official in office who promise to lower your state income taxes... remember, you and your family will pay higher real estate, higher sales, and higher gasoline taxes... use your brain; get out of NJ!
You could say the same for pretty much every state in the U.S... let's face it, our society sucks. Everywhere, there are good parts and bad parts. Just use your head and go live in an area that suits you and your income. If you want to, go live in Newark or Jersey City or wherever else it is you can't stand. You can't say a state sucks because you choose to live in the unappealing cities.
P.S... what's the big deal about people not speaking english when talking to people they know? You might say, "well, this is America. We speak English here". What's it to you? Don't flatter yourself... trust me, I doubt they'd be talking about you. -(to whoever said "why don't people speak english anymore... or whatever)

People not talking English to people they know? What are you talking about? What else are they going to talk? Unless they are non-English-speaking foreigners, or Esperanto cranks. I've never heard of anyone complaining about Chinamen talking Chinese to other Chinamen.

I'm from jersey... and its so funny how people think their state is any different. I also love how NJ people are also the only ones who stick up for their state so hardcore, and is the only state attacked, but this is becuase NJ sucks.. i know.

Jersey is Great,Most States Have one big city and a bounch of farmland jersey is a collection of small towns and city's entricatly woven together,you cross the street your in a new town with a new scene. i lived all over the country and jersey is not bad. I remember having *69 on my phone 5 years before they rolled it out to the rest of the country. thanks newjersey bell. i remember not being able to get a snapple in salt lake city in 1992,all they had was soda,i would go to ney york on the weekend and shop when i was 13 with my friends some people wait there whole life and save all there money to see it once! in elementary school we had class trips to the best nyc had to offer jersey is great PA sucks the white people in PA are realy White,white folks in jersey got alittle black or indian in there blood from years ago gives them a nice olive complection but PA white folks look pink. Funny that Money magazine ranks NJ as having the highest income in the nation. It surpassed Connecticut in this area several years ago.

However, many our now leaving the state because of the tax situation. A lot of high tech jobs are leaving the state. Believe it or not Virgina has taken NJ's 5th position in technology.
NJ does suck. It does not have 'beautiful' beaches (go south of North Carolina and you'll see what water SHOULD look like, blue and clear and not smelling like wet dog/garbage). NJ has to accept that it's NY's toilet and be done with it. All of the 'representatives' from NJ that I've met are self-centered and ignorant. I've vacationed there and many NJ-ites are lacking in any kind of culture other than trying to make a quick buck.
Much like Germany in the late 1930's early '40's, the smart people got out a long time ago.
I can't wait for the state to drop into the Atlantic.
