Did Bernard Lagat drop out?

What an epic fail in the coverage. Instead of showing whether Emily Sisson got the AR (I'm pretty sure she didn't), they showed an interview of some Aramco executive and the men's winner.
EMBARRASSING.
I saw her cross just before like 67:31.
Well people want to see the winner...not some middle of the pack elite. She can be interviewed AFTER 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th.
Glad to see Jim get the standard. I hope all you dopes like eating crow now. And I hope this keeps the "Jim can't run when it's a big event" talk away

Its not racist. We want to watch runners wer have been following since college
They have another hour to interview the winners. Show us the race. They weren't even showing the finishers. They were just showing the winner standing there. People want to see who finished 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, etc. The even is still going on.
In golf, they don't only show you the leader, they show you everyone that is doing well.
Why don't you start your own TV station? Given your excellent journalism skills, I'm sure it would be a success.

Five years from now every sponsored runner will have his/her own personal drone above and personal camera feed on the sponsoring company's website. The current situation is unacceptable, but we've gotten used to it always being like this. The next generation won't tolerate it though.
Hard lines but well done, Emily Sisson. So close! Beat Gladys Cherono & Edith Chelimo.
Great run for Elaina Tabb (nee Balouris) - 70:44.
GB's Alice Wright will probably be disappointed with her 73:17 debut.
Is anyone here familiar with the course? It looks like all the elites slowed down a bit from the half split to 25k. Is the course slow through there?
Top 50 for the half marathon:
Funny to see their clueless reporters talking about "all the smiling runners going past", when all you see are strained huffing ver weight joggers gasping for air and shuffling along.
Great finish by Kitata. Surprised Karoki ended up 3rd.

Kenyans actually have names too! And less school massacres.
Thank you, Captain Obvious for taking things literally. They have their own names, who would've thought? Though most of them just vanish in a year or two.
Why post something from 2015?
Apparently you're clueless to the one that happened just a week ago.

Any relation to Ron Tabb?
32km in 1:32:45 is 2:11:30 pace
I’m honestly sick of hearing about how bad coverage is during races. This was a non-major marathon with a free live stream and uninterrupted cameras on the leaders throughout the race.
Complaining on here after literally every road race accomplishes absolutely nothing. Either do something about it or shut up about the coverage and talk about the performances (many of which were spectacular)

Not unless he's her father in-law. Tabb is her married name.

Exactly. This is a local broadcast. They actually did a better job showing the runners than some major networks who inexplicably always miss the major moves in the race.

What's with this Western Hemisphere Record, LOL? I've never heard of that as a record before?
And isn't Europe in the Western Hemisphere?? If so, Kosgei's run wouldn't be the record.

Europe? Western Hemisphere? Wow.
