Predictions?
Wind NNW @ 13mph. Was hoping for less wind and a balls to the walls race from start to finish. Assuming serious prize $, why risk blowing up? As opposed to those (US runners) who are going for a standard who will be running against the clock.
Kitata for the win

Yep. No sound.
Also, I'm pretty sure there was a false start by about 200 people, 2 minutes before the race. A few of the pros went ahead of the start line to warm up and a huge swarm of people followed. The pros looked confused... within a 1 minutes those couple hundred people came back. Anyone else see that?
Yeah. It was the same way last year, but it's a free stream so I'm not complaining.
On the broadcast they just said that a 12 year old is running the marathon and a 7 year old is running the half. That is just criminal. They should have never accepted entries for kids so young and the parents should be investigated
Mile 1... we have no idea. It is still just the start line camera panning watching the people all start. 5 minutes in. no sound.

You need to have to overall coverage on as well on a separate tab.
https://abc13.com/sports/watch-live-aramco-half-marathon/5098100/FYI there is an overall feed with commentary here:
https://abc13.com/live/?ex_cid=vuemix_HP_live
One with a camera on the half marathon leaders (no sound):
https://abc13.com/sports/watch-live-aramco-half-marathon/5098100/
And one with a camera on the marathon leaders (no sound):

The way I'm watching it is with the overall feed in one background tab so the sound still plays but with my screen on the HM leader screen.
But the commentary has been pretty useless to this point.
This one
Oh god commentary is awful
Prefer silence
4:25 first mile.
4:25 first mile. Slowed down a bit for the 2nd.
A new standard of horrible race coverage. PIP (picture in picture) and BOTH screens are showing the hobby joggers still crossing the start line 11 minutes into the race!

Yeah, just local newspeople. My eyes glazed over within a minute.
