Just a little correction, but is Vivian Cheruiyot's PR not 2:18:31? I see 2:18:00 listed and therefore putting her name ahead of Gladys Cherono who has a PR of 2:18:11.

Why isn't Rupp running it?
Has he chosen to DUCK yet another competitive field?
Maybe he can go run a custom-paced time trial in Prague again. lololololololol

Sammy Nyokaye (whover he is,) is not a pacer at London
With a four year old PB of 62.13 he could not run 61.00 or anything close

It`s not a joke. His manager told he will be in the London marathon as one of the pacemakers.
And don`t look at that old 62:13 he ran in France 2015. After that year he won the Mully`s half 2017 at high altitude in 1:01:40, 8 sec from world best ever in history at high altitude. He beat Kangogo who ran 59 min twice in Kobenhaven half. In a half in Kenya at the end of 2018 he ran even with Daniel Wanjiru. Sammy is a very good runner but he has not got so many good chances in Europe . He will be ready for his task in London to pass threw half at 1:01.

PRs cross sectioned with how recently they ran them?

Look up their bio on the IAAF website.
Do you want to bet? This athlete - your athlete - will not be a pacemaker in London.
Enough already of your self-promotion as a great coach !!
The 2015 London Marathon had a better field, by the way. It had three world record holders in the distance with Kipsang, Kimetto, and Kipchoge (arguably 4 if you count Mutai in Boston). Several of these guys had or would have course records on marathon majors courses, too. Now in 2019 you just have Kipchoge and Kipsang (quite old by now) who have had a world record. Fewer course record holders. Maybe some of these guys are running fast times, but it wasn't the clash of the titans we saw in 2015. Surely 2019 could be a great marathon, but 2015 was a big deal when it happened and in the lens of history it stands up well.
Wow. This looks like an easy course to cheat on, like cutting the course between 30 to 35K. I hope Marathon Investigations will be on top of this. It would be a shame if a course-cutter won Olympic gold!
good answer
If weather will be ideal and considering London's first half is a slight net downhill we might see Kipchoge asking the organisers for a 60:45 first half.

61-61:30 first half, than Eliud Kipchoge will do a positive split of 62-63 minutes FTW.
I believe it because :
1.He redefined what most thought was possible.
2.He wants to attack the world record yet again and will be in incredible shape.
3.He knows that the SAFEST way to win against such a stacked field is to go out so so hard and try to hold on for as long as possible while other will die a slow death in the latter stages.
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
RENATO can you talk about the preparation of Emile Cairess 2:06
Running for Bowerman Track Club used to be cool now its embarrassing
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
Hats off to my dad. He just ran a 1:42 Half Marathon and turns 75 in 2 months!
