Do you even watch The Athlete Special??
he's from Missouri where his best in the State Meet was 3rd in the 800m in 1:52.76 in 2012 and he also ran 3:53.73 for 1500m in HS. went to Georgetown where his results were not that impressive, to be honest: 2014 he ran 1:50 and 3:45, 2015 he was 2nd in the Big East indoors in 1:49.63i and ran 3:43 at the Payton Jordan invitational, but he also went sub-4 at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational with 3:58.75i suggesting there might be more to come. 2016 he again went sub-4 indoors but outdoors his results were pretty meh! which saw him trying some of the longer stuff and we get 7:57 for 3000m and 14:05 for 5000m. I suspect an injury somewhere around this point because he didn't do very much in 2017, 1:51 for 800m, he was 12th in his semi at the NCAA East Prelim' but improved to 6th at a meet in Portland in 3:42 and ran 3:57.65i for the mile (also at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational). his recent run in the UW Preview was a pr by 2.3 seconds.
cheers.
he just got offered $60k contract from NIKE. Awesome job!
And one hell of a fine American....

He is German.
STL represent! Another Missouri runner!

Click and find out.
Dude breaks 4 in college, results not that impressive.
Anyway, there was a significant coaching change in there. These things matter.
3:55 for Andy Powell. His first great men's coaching success at UW?
He ran fast times and was several times an all American at Georgetown. Real ones know!
Also ran 3:39 last year. I’m assuming he is unsponsored. What’s his current situation? Who is coaching him/who does he train with?
Lol, if this were any other sport, pretty much everyone on this type of message board would know who Amos is.
But of course, the top thread on LetsRun for the better part of the weekend has been a discussion as to wether or not Shalane Flanagan “looks old”, which she probably does compared to the anorexic, prepubescent, flat-chested waifs the fine gentlemen of this board seem to prefer.
I am considering starting my own running message board website, where one cannot post anonymously, and where one’s verified PRs appear along with your username. I figure that by a) selecting a website template from this decade, and b) eliminating NSFW page redirects from my code I’ll have a fairly easy time usurping LetsRun.

Yeah, I agree. Place has become overrun with trolls and off topic threads. Kejelcha runs 2:18 and 3:52 within an hour of each other in his first race of the indoor season, and there's hardly a footnote on the boards. I think if you take your idea, and have someone to interview pros in a respectful way/actually do some journalism (i.e. exposé on something like the Sabadell bust, etc)/stay on topic, you might just have a big winner.
Amos trained with Brandon Bonsey, men's coach at Georgetown, until October, then coached by Andy Powell, while serving as volunteer assistant coach at UW.
I think he does trail runs dressed like a pirate

I have been reading/posting on the letsrun messageboard since 2003 and in the last 15+ years it hasn't changed in content. This forum primarily serves for the best play by plays on marathons and DL results. Otherwise it's basically a cesspool.
My point is that if you start your own messageboardwebsite, it won't affect letsrun at all. You could have fun talking to your local running buddies, though, I guess...
Georgetown man. Ran 1:49 and 3:39 there, as well as sub-4:00 in the mile. Graduated last year and started working with Andy Powell. Whether it's drugs or the training, he seems to have taken to it quite nicely.
