For my gym class, I have to run a 10km road race. I looked into this race, and I saw that the winner receives 250$ . Being competitive (and a poor student), I'll try to win. However, when the race takes place, I'll be in pre-season training for summer track. I'd probably need a sub 33 to win, so I want to know if anyone has run a 10k off 800/1500 training (50-60mpw) and what your results were. The 10k is in early April, summer track starts in late May. Pr's are 1:59, 4:06, 26:40 (XC).
Obviously, I won't do anything to mess up my track training for this 10k, I was just wondering if I could run a sub 33 off pre-season mid-d training.
