Why are people so afraid of going through "bad" neighborhoods?

Notice how the dbäg OP fails to mention what he considers a bad neighborhood and where it is he supposedly walks through.

My guess is he’s clueless about this and many other things in life.

I’ll show him lots of ‘bad’ neighborhoods and then we’ll see him starting a different themed thread.

I went into a bad neighborhood once and was assaulted by two young men. They tried to actually take my car. How brazen was that? But I was quick and got out of there real fast. I now never go to these areas. Thankfully the world is getting much more peaceful and someday, I believe fairly soon, everywhere will be a safe place, day or night.

In HS my friend and i (2 suburban white boys) re driving in South Providence RI in his moms station wagon

A car pulled up, the passenger pointed a gun at us and we were chased out.

A few years ago we took a wrong turn in Philadelphia and ended up on a side street blocked by 2 cars and a young man caame up to the car brandishing a large knife. I drove on the sidewalk to get away.

Perhaps I jumped to a conclusion too rapidly in these cases but I dont think so.

I had a friend's girlfriend get raped and murdered in a bad neighborhood. It was very sad.

It's probably a good idea to be vigilant.

I agree with you. I have contempt for people who fear boogie men. I lived in a "bad" neighborhood for many years without even a single incident. I go to a "good" neighborhood and am attacked, not once, but twice by so called "respectable"-looking people. Wound up a bleeding mess after once of the attacks. I quickly learned not to trust people who hide behind their privilege.

I went to college in Cleveland and a kid a knew missed his stop on the bus for campus and went one stop too far into East Cleveland and what was considered a bad part of town. He's Asian and got jumped by a group of black guys who bloodied him up real bad.

It also needs to be clear how one is defining "good" or "bad" neighborhoods. There are plenty of areas where the locals think there are "bad" areas, but are still pretty decent.

Neanderthal DNA is most prevalent in the white / European DNA line who went around fucking their 'ancestors'. Blacks are probably the purest homo sapiens sapiens.

It is true that only Sub-Saharan Africans are 100% Homo Sapiens Sapiens, no probably about it. Europeans, Asians, and American Indians are similar in Neanderthal DNA, about 98% Homo Sapiens Sapiens, 2% Neanderthal. Melanesians and Australian Aborigines are about 95% Homo Sapiens Sapiens, 5% Denisovan.

What this means, I don't pretend to know. White Supremacists and Black Supremacists both seem to like to bang on about it. They can't both be right, and probably neither are. One thing is for sure: we are all human.
