How are you and Kara doing?
He just wants to try out the Schumacher sauce.

Think about what Salazar was able to do with Centro.
He took 4:04 high school Miler from Maryland, not even Top 10 All-Time in American high school record books, and DEVELOPED him into an OLYMPIC GOLD MEDALIST over 1500m.
Freaking amazing collaboration.
No, Salazar took a 3:34 guy and world bronze medalist right out of college and developed him into an Olympic gold medalist.
Is Centro arrogant as hell or does he just look arrogant as hell?
Centro is trying to getaway from all the scandal involving Salazar.

He seems just like a down to earth bro to me.
Salazar does not care if Centro is with BTC. Look at all the new runners NOP has.
Besides the obvious differences in training between the two groups, Centro raced relatively often under NOP/Alberto. Jerry’s athletes race a lot less. Jager raced like 5 times total last year.
Will we see Centro’s racing schedule cut-back?

It’ll be interesting to hear from Centro directly why he made the move. Some will say that he’ll be moving-up to the 5k the next few years but Salazar is a great 5k coach. Mo won five golds and a silver at Olympics/Worlds in the 5k. Galen ran some very fast 5ks. So did Jenkins and Kejelcha and Ritz and Rowbury. Centro ran 13:20 under Alberto.
We’ll likely get the BS PC answer “I was just looking to change things up at this point in my career.” And there is something to changing-up the training at this point.
I suspect the real answer is... He was actually looking to change things up at this point in his career. It makes sense, you get used to the same kind of workouts etc., and after so many years, staying intellectually engaged in order to ward off both burnout and not lose inspiration is a good thing.
Now imagine how good of a coach Centro will be someday. Powell, Salazar, Schumacher systems under his belt. Wow.

If you can't understand that someone don't care about athletes that consciously choose to be associated with a group that has been under suspicion for years then I suppose there is not much point in having a discussion with you.
You need to untwist your jean panties bro, they're in a knot.
Salazar's group would be the cleanest there is since that non-sense came down from drama queen Kara and her unbalanced hubby.

Well, if you exclude Farah and his Aden liaisons.

Both
Probably
I really didn't think that Centro was too happy about Murphy and Brazier joining NOP or all the foreigners.
Given he has being going backwards for sometime now, he is hoping for a new formula.
I’m not so sure Matt will make it back to the top . He waited to long to move up to the 5k, doesn’t like the training involved and if afraid of the race.
The other global elites will never give him a medal again, fool me once but not twice.
He not going to get faster, it will be a sad painful ending to his career. It will be interesting to see how long he will stay in the game and embarrass himself.

Sounds like Centro would fit right in here on the forums

Huh? He won London and ran 3:31 just last year. Is that what you mean by "embarrass"?
Besides, he's Olympic champion...anything done on top of that is just a bonus.
